Mat has over 20 years' research and advisory experience within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and UK property markets, including more than 17 years based in the UAE. During this period, he has led the regional and country research practices for global property consultancies and regional real estate developers, with responsibility for setting company narrative on macro-economic conditions and sector level real estate performance.
He has been directly involved with multiple large-scale masterplan and mixed-use development projects, managing the delivery of market analysis and strategic consulting inputs to key clients, including master planning strategy, financial feasibility, highest and best-use, area programming, development optimisation, portfolio optimisation, and bespoke market research and analysis, across all real estate asset typologies.
